Drives are the guiding principle for the behavior that people and teams display in their work.
Management Drives (MD) measures 6 drives. The sequence, dominance and combinations give insight into the way people think, feel and act. This results in an unique individual drive profile using the talents available.
Management Drives won’t cure all the world’s ills, but can be very helpful in motivating the individual, putting together an effective team or creating a desirable culture within your organisation.
The procedure
The Management Drives questionnaire is an online tool which measures individual drives. Color codes are used to identify the various drives. They also enable a simple and clear way of displaying the results.
The profile will be explained during an individual and personal explanation.
An extensive brochure is supplied with the individual profile.
Teamprofiles
The individual profiles can be combined into a group profile.
This group profile indicates what the group considers as most important drives,
what as less important drives or even as blind spots.
The color codes allow for a common, international language which is easy to adopt.
Tailor made programs
MD can be of great help to improve team performance. When individuals cooperate with each other, it is the combination of drives present which determines how the interaction unfolds. MD helps to understand each other better and how balance can be found within a team. If for example Blue drives (structure and procedures) dominate too much, there’s not enough room for Orange drives (challenge and results).
Or by showing “too much Orange” a teams lacks “Blue structure”.
Because people conduct their own “culture assessment” they are generally committed to the results and motivated to work on it. Cultural aspects can be translated in concrete behavior agreements.
